Spring Series #1 at Treasure Island Sailing CenterApril 27

Story
First Thursday night of the year! Eight boats out. Light breeze, but Ian managed to get five races off by shortening the course for the last couple. Sam and Kristin pulled out a win, only because Eric and Cally had to head out early. We welcomed a number of new racers to the fleet, and Lee and Cameron served as social chairs with sausages and beer. Note that there are two 5s in the third race because Robert and Caitlin received redress due to a scoring error. The three-way tie for places 6, 7, and 8 was resolved based on each boat's best finish.

Subject: Seeking Boat(s) for High Sierra
Info: (4721 views) Posted: Sunday 6-19-11 04:51:19 PM
Hi, I'm trying to round up some old college sailing friends for High Sierra this year. Does anyone have a boat they would be willing to charter for the weekend?

Is anyone else from the fleet going to this?

The regatta is July 9-10. We would probably leave Friday night and be back Sunday night.

Thanks,

Sam
