Hi all-
We have 2 campsites reserved (8 people max each) at Samuel Taylor
State Park (it’s otherwise sold out). It’s not the Olema Ranch, which
was the RV park we were at 2 years ago that I think was loud… I know
Avery and Pat are staying at a hotel but I think we can squeeze
everybody in. T
he biggest factor in the past, with getting the Park Rangers on our
side, is keeping the boat trailers from getting in the way. So if you
are driving up Friday night, please first try to stash the trailer
outside the park if you can. If I remember right, there's a parking
area outside the gates where you could leave the trailer overnight.
Since it's only there for a few hours I don't think the Rangers will
care.
Otherwise it's all coming together. If you have a trailer hitch and
can pull a trailer please let us know; let us know as well if you
need a spot on a trailer for your boat.
I will send out SI's in the coming weeks; the entry fee will cover
the facility charter fee to Inverness YC as well as the campsites.
