The Regatta will be held November 3-4 at Newport Harbor Yacht Club, Newport Beach, CA. The racing will be in 3 fleets of boats, FJs, 420s and Vanguard 15s.

The regatta has been a really good time in the past with solid participation from the fleet up in the Bay Area. We are going to limit the number of teams to 8 but possibly will go to ten teams. The emphasis is going to be on great team racing and as much of it as possible.

I am in charge of running the regatta this year so I will not be able to sail but I would like to run a great team race for all of you. That means getting as many sailors down to Newport from the Bay Area as possible.

If you are thinking about going and need housing let me know I will try to arrange it for you. Please let me know as soon as possible if you plan on attending especially if you need housing.
