Despite a promising breeze as we left the dock, the 4 windward/leeward races were completed in traditional Holiday Classic conditions of 0-5 kts from the west-by-north-by-east-by-south-by-west. Scott and Jill pulled off a win with amazing consistency, which was easier said than done with frequent 90 degree windshifts.
Purdy-squared proved to be the real champions of the event. Not only did they donate 8 delicious pizzas, but they skipped the last race and sacrificed their 2nd place standing to go pick them up.
