Subject: Dock Pull at TISC 12/2
Info: (73 views) Posted: Tuesday 11-28-23 08:31:20 PM
Hey Dock Pull Volunteers -

Thanks for volunteering for TISC annual Dock Removal this Saturday 11/2. Weather is holding for now.

We will plan to meet up at TISC at 9:00am on Saturday morning. We previously said 8:30am but delaying a bit allows the tide to rise some. I will pick up some coffee and snacks on the way in for the group.

You bring:

-Shoes / boots - these will get wet and salty and probably meet some dock-life. Make sure they aren't your favorite pair!
-Gloves - gardening or work gloves really help save your hands when handling cold wet lines and scraping growth off
-Paint Scraper (if you have one) - Once the docks get out of the water we scrape them and push the growth back into the water. TISC has a bunch, but the more the merrier.

TISC will provide:

-Forklift Driver
-Tools for decoupling docks
-Straps for lifting docks
-Scrapers for scraping growth off docks

Thanks All.
