| Traffic, Traffic, Traffic...
19 boats signed up- 16 made it, only 8 for the first race. Worst traffic I've seen on the BB. 1st race Points were changed to ave points of the other races, only if it helped you- which it only did for Garth 1177 and didn't move him up at all. Random night- too hot to bring the breeze on till late. 4 races. 1 + 2 were light with some small puffs. 3rd race saw a huge starboard/north shift for 30 mins making the boat ridiculously favored were we could square the line. After a general, Mr Super brought out the black flag which got at least 5 boats. Laying down the law! Other highlights: - someone tipped of at the dock/ramp - and couldn't get it back up. They could walk from the dock on to their boat.. Not saying who it was... - neither of my 2 crews made it so I got to borrow Guillemette from Wilson- thank you- she rocks! - Melissa showed. I figured since the wind was less than 5 knots and we know how much the Purdy's like to hike... no pizza, no Tom- what's up??? - Tom A did some circles- which was very nice and honest! we didn't need waypoint dinner- we had Rob Grant and Sarah doing to all! Bringing their own grill to keep the shelfish stew- crab, shrimp, seafood- boilin and plenty-o-beer, they continued to step up the game for best social chair. After last night, I don't remember who I was voting for... Great to see those that got their late stick around to hang out. Next week is the last thursday! Sad. But also: SUPER SVENDESEN'S THURSDAY! Happy again. come one, come all, bring SO's and friends and someone to drive us home! See ya |
