Svendsen's Thursday Night #4 at Treasure Island Sailing CenterApril 24

Story
Very shifty winds in clipper cove made it hard to be consistent. The wind was going through 60 degrees in angle and anywhere in pressure from full on hiking to not being able to wing and wing. Great turnout with 21 boats, and we still got four solid races even though the breeze was light sometime. The starting line was also surprisingly civil with 21 boats on it. Linda had blazing speed and pointing but went the wrong way a few times. Adam Bennett was launched in race 3 but gave us all a gift when he finished a twice around one lap early and proceeded to miss a massive lefty. We (Tom and Amy) just tried to sail conservatively, stay as in phase as we could, and avoid any deep races.

Thanks to John Super Sr. and John Super Jr. for great race courses in difficult conditions, and thanks to Mike Strauss, Katy, and Matt Soldo for being social chairs. The strawberries were really good :).
