A hot first day gave us intermittent breeze and a strong cross-course current. Most of the fleet was thus understandably inconsistent, except for Kevin/Becca and Ken/Rebecca, who brilliantly stayed in front. However, the fleet was still remarkably close on many of the mark roundings and the Lasers and FD's set some solid picks in tactical situations.
The second day the breeze came in for real and RC gave us some long beats, rewarding the raw speed of team Tom/Greg, who came out on top of a close contest for Third. Congratulations to Kevin/Becca for sailing remarkably consistently, throwing out a 3rd, and claiming the '08 Sailstice.
