| Fall Series #4 saw nine boats on the line with a medium to light breeze. Starts ended up being pretty competitive, with multiple over-early calls and one general recall. Upwind the left corner paid off as usual, but a couple consistent shifts in the middle would keep you in race at the windward mark. Downwinds were a matter of keeping a lane, not sailing too much extra distance, and keeping an eye on which phase the wind was in to make a gate mark decision. Congrats to our top 3: Ian & Lauren in first, Steve & Claire in second, and Cameron & Jacqui in third. |
