We had a great turnout for the end of the Summer Series. The breeze was tricky tonight: variable speed, localized puffs downwind, and some pretty big phase shifts upwind to keep track of. Keeping track of the wind phase, having room to stay on the favored tack, and positioning for the favored gate were all important.
Congrats to Al & Ethan for a dominant first place finish, Kristin & Cecilia for a comfortable second place, and Sam & Steph for clinching third in the final seconds of the crew race.
